Among the best vineyards in France
A land of history and gastronomy, often referred to as the "Garden of France", the Loire Valley is also distinguished by the quality of its wines. All around our hotel near Amboise, you can visit exceptional vineyards and participate in tastings of Vouvray or Montlouis-sur-Loire. These two AOC wines are made from 100 % of white Chenin and are available in dry, semi-dry and sweet varieties. They can also be vinified as sparkling wines, according to a traditional method, and their fine bubbles then accompany aperitifs or desserts.

Appreciated by kings such as Louis XI and François I, Amboise wines still seduce today by their character. Available in reds (powerful and fruity), whites (dry, semi-dry or sweet) or rosés (still and refreshing), they go perfectly with the specialities of Touraine and many cellars invite you to taste them.

Savouring the sweetness of the Touraine
A pleasant way to explore the Loire Valley is to take the Touraine wine route. Between superb landscapes, great abbeys and famous castles, you can make a few gourmet stops in cellars, sometimes troglodytic, to taste wines from Chinon, Bourgueil, Vouvray...
