We host weddings and receptions in a warm and historic setting, just a few minutes from Amboise.
Your wedding at the Château de Pray
For the duration of a wedding, the Pray Castle is reserved entirely for you.
The 19 rooms, the restaurant, the gardens and the different areas The castle’s surroundings will provide the backdrop for your celebration, allowing you to enjoy time with your loved ones to the full throughout your stay.
From the secular ceremony at the reception, then to the sit-down dinner and to the dance party, every moment has its place at the Château. The next day, a brunch can also bring your guests together to extend this special moment with ease.
We host weddings for 30 to 80 people maximum.
For groups of more than 50 people, a additional covered space can be set up to extend the reception area and ensure there is plenty of space for the dance.
It may also be considered in the event of uncertain weather. This service is available at an additional cost.
Our team will help you organise your reception, working with you to create a wedding that reflects who you are, whilst preserving the character and spirit of the château.

Meals & receptions
Château de Pray also hosts meals to celebrate life’s special moments: weddings, christenings, first communions, birthdays, family meals or get-togethers with friends.
Depending on the number of guests and the occasion, we can offer you a suitable space to enjoy a convivial occasion centred around our Chef’s cuisine. You can also extend the celebration with a Accommodation at the Château, to spend a few hours or a few days with your loved ones.
Formulas designed with your preferences and the format of your event may be offered in various areas of the Château.
Our dining areas
Le Petit Salon
Cosy and welcoming, the Petit Salon seats up to 23 people. Up to 17 guests, a single oval table allows you to make the most of the space.
Further along, two tables have been set up to ensure a comfortable layout.
A special place to enjoy a meal with family, friends or to mark a special occasion.
The Orangery
More spacious and lighter, the Orangery opens out onto the main courtyard and offers another venue for your meals and receptions.
Its use depends on the number of guests, the format of the event and the Château’s availability.
For groups of more than 23 people, options are considered on a case-by-case basis.
